Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange owned by the Winklevoss brothers, has warned users of the company's two fake YouTube video hosting accounts.

Exchange representatives indicated that an unknown person used the Gemini brand and logo.

“These fraudulent accounts do not belong to our company. We reported them to YouTube, ”the message says.

Over the past six months, this case is not the only one. In October, investor Andy Leanne turned to a video hosting service with a demand to remove fake videos allegedly associated with the Gemini exchange and the Winklevoss brothers. At that time, one of the entries received more than 105,000 views and 2,800 likes.

Bitcoin price drops to December low of $ 18,000

On Wednesday night, December 9, the bitcoin price dropped to $ 18,000, having lost more than 5% or $ 1,200 per day.

As a result of the decrease, the volume of liquidations in the futures market amounted to $ 440 million.
