The ABC of vitamins. Japanese Sophora and Rutin
For more than two months I have been brewing tea with Japanese Sophora. And today I will share with you why. I'll tell you about the Sophora itself. And I want to talk to you about a somewhat underestimated rutin (vitamin P).
There are a number of substances that the human body is not able to produce on its own, among them rutin (vitamin P). It should be noted that this particular vitamin is especially valuable for many systems and organs. It has a beneficial effect on:
walls of blood vessels and capillaries increases their elasticity
blood pressure normalizes it and maintains it at the proper level
intraocular pressure reduces it and prevents the development of glaucoma
In addition, rutin (vitamin P) is able to have antiallergic, anti-inflammatory, anti-edema effect, gently relieve spasm and dilate blood vessels. Acting as an antioxidant, protecting against colds and infections, preventing oncological pathologies of the blood and mammary glands.
If a person has a lack of vitamin P, the first sign of this are manifestations in the form of petechiae - small hemorrhages on the skin, especially in those areas that have been physically affected or pressured. There are also traces of hemorrhage on the mucous membranes, minor bruises, general weakness, slight pain in the limbs, apathy.
To enhance the effect of the remedy, it is recommended to use vitamin P in combination with another important vitamin C for humans. These two components are able to enhance the beneficial properties of each other, which proves the frequent combination of both natural sources.
Popular rumor calls the Japanese Sophora - "A gentle stranger, useful to all people." The fruits of Japanese Sophora contain the same rutin, which has the ability to strengthen and cleanse the walls of blood vessels, restore the elasticity of blood vessels, including capillary ones, remove organic deposits from their walls, and reduce cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
In folk medicine, they usually use a tincture of sophora fruits (pour 100 g of fruits with 1 liter of vodka or 40% alcohol, leave for 30 days in a dark place, strain. Take 1 tsp 3 times a day after meals, squeeze 0.5 cups of water). In China, they drink tea from the fruits of sophora to raise the vitality of the body with a weakened immune system.
Method of preparation: pour 1 teaspoon with a glass of boiling water, leave for 15-20 minutes. I brew sophora with shu pu-erh in a thermos. But tea is not the only drink that can be made with Sophora :)

How to take vitamin P, daily allowance
A healthy adult should consume from 30 to 50 mg of vitamin P per day, but if the agent is used for medicinal purposes, the daily rate is 100-150 mg. You should not be afraid of an overdose of the drug, it does not threaten health, the excess vitamin is easily and naturally removed from the human body. The only people who should take rutin with caution are people suffering from increased blood clotting. To enhance the effect of the remedy, it is recommended to use vitamin P in combination with another important vitamin C for humans. Vitamin P content in plant foods
Vitamin P is found in high amounts in fruits and berries. Especially in citrus fruits, oranges, lemons, tangerines. And not in their pulp, but in the back of the peel and films. Also in cherries, plums, apples, grapes, apricots, currants (black), raspberries, blackberries, blueberries. As for vegetables, bell peppers, garlic, sorrel, white cabbage, beets, tomatoes are rich in routine. An excellent source of the vitamin is green tea and Japanese sophora berries :)Popular rumor calls the Japanese Sophora - "A gentle stranger, useful to all people."
