During the festivities, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez severely warns of the danger of the Democrats turning right

Opponents of Trumpism celebrated in the United States after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were declared elected by American networks.

But in the middle of the party, the representative of New York's 14th Congressional District warned the Democrats: Your base is not the enemy.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed on Twitter that Trump "regularly attacks" some of the most popular social and progressive movements.

According to her, it is because the president wanted the Democrats to "avoid our greatest asset."

"The strategy can be nuanced and we are a big top, but we don't have to be scared all the time. Be proud."

She made the comment after Trump launched much of his campaign in Minnesota against Democratic Party activist Ilhan Omar, who was re-elected in his district.

She was particularly critical of the former Republican governor. John Kasich, allegedly queuing for a place in Biden's cabinet.

In an interview with CNN over the weekend, Kasich claimed that the far-left Democratic Party almost cost Biden the election.

This drew a stern reprimand from Ocasio-Cortez, who indicated that Kasich could not hand Ohio over to Democrats.

She noted that Omar, on the other hand, played a key role in Minnesota's tenure in the Democratic Party.

"People don't take these people [like Kasich] seriously and are starting to celebrate and strengthen again," said Ocasio-Cortez.
